Envision Utah has done several studies on development in Utah.  Some of the fastest growing cities in Utah are Lehi, Herriman and Bluffdale.  This area to Utahns is called the Point of the Mountain. It is the hill that divides Utah County to the south and Salt Lake County to the North.  

Several large tech firms have located their offices in Lehi.  It has been nicknamed Silicon Slopes.  Some of the largest companies are Adobe, Oracle, Vivint Solar, IM Flash, Extrata, Natures Sunshine, XanGo, Workfront, and Xactware.

With more companies locating to Utah brings employees transferring from other states.  Envision Utah predicts that by 2050, Salt Lake County is projected to have 1.5 million more people living here. Another 1.3 million will live in Utah County.  Employment opportunities are one of the reasons Utah is a great place to move.
